Global Remnant was not simply created from a professional vision. It was born from a passion to serve people that has been cultivated through years of personal, professional, community, and faith-based experiences.
As a Texas-licensed professional counselor, educator, mentor, youth leader, and community servant, I have had the privilege of walking alongside children, adolescents, adults, parents, and families through some of life's most difficult seasons. My experience has allowed me to serve in churches, schools, behavioral health settings, juvenile justice environments, community programs, and family-centered initiatives.
For more than a decade, I have worked with young people through youth leadership, mentoring, counseling, life-skills development, and community outreach. I have served children and families experiencing behavioral challenges, academic struggles, difficult transitions, trauma, poor decision-making, and circumstances that can make it difficult to see beyond their present situation.
These experiences have taught me something I carry into everything we do:
There is always more to the person than the problem we see.
I have seen the child behind the behavior, and academic struggle, the parent behind the frustration, and the person behind the pain. I have witnessed how environment, experiences, relationships, beliefs, emotions, and choices can shape the way people see themselves and navigate the world.
These experiences nurtured a deeper burden and commitment to serve my community—not simply by helping people manage problems, but by helping them develop the understanding, skills, resilience, and hope necessary to move forward.
At Global Remnant Behavior Health Services, we value the importance of evidence-based behavioral health practices while also recognizing the profound role that faith, values, identity, and purpose can play in a person's journey.
As a faith-based organization, we intentionally integrate biblical principles with professional knowledge and evidence-informed practices to support the whole person—mind, body, spirit and relationships.
Our goal is not simply symptom reduction or short-term change.
We desire to see holistic success.
We want individuals to become better equipped to understand themselves, regulate their emotions, make healthy decisions, build meaningful relationships, overcome challenges, develop resilience, walk in peace, and pursue the purpose for which they were created.
For young people, this means helping them discover that their circumstances do not have to define their future.
For adults and families, it means creating opportunities for healing, growth, restoration, wisdom, and renewed direction.
For communities, it means building healthier individuals and families who are better equipped to contribute, lead, connect, and thrive.
My professional experiences have given me knowledge.
My personal experiences have given me compassion.
My faith has given me conviction.
And my community has given me a place to serve.
Together, these have shaped the heart of Global Remnant Behavior Health Services.
We believe people can heal.
People can grow.
People can change.
People can overcome.
And people can become who they were created to be.
That is the heart behind Global Remnant Behavioral Health Services, PLLC.

Why Christian Mental Health Matters: Caring for the Mind, Honoring God
In some faith communities, mental health can be overlooked or misunderstood. Some believe that strong faith alone should eliminate human struggle or challenges along life’s journey. The truth is this: caring for your mental health is not a lack of faith; it is an act of stewardship of the temple of the Holy Spirit.
